Honolulu Cookie Company General Manager Ryan Sung announces sweet promotions for four at Honolulu Cookie Company

Honolulu Cookie Company has promoted four dedicated team members to senior positions in acknowledgement of their hard work and achievements.

Julie Plant has been promoted to Vice President of Retail from the Director of Retail position to which she was elevated in February. She is responsible for the overall direction and performance of the company’s retail and e-commerce division, which has grown under her leadership. Julie will set the tone and direction for retail operations going forward. She joined Honolulu Cookie Company in 2014.

Kathy Arasaki has been promoted to Senior Director of Finance and Accounting, her second promotion since joining the company as Controller in 2016. She oversees financial planning; analysis; reporting, audit and tax matters, and inventory management. Kathy is also responsible for cross-functional matters involving business processes and financial systems oversight.

Liza Inouye has been promoted to Senior Director of Product Management, responsible for overall product line development, planning and execution as well as inventory management throughout the product lifecycle. She joined Honolulu Cookie Company in 2008 and previously served as Director of Product Management.

Marie Marcos-Tugade has been promoted to Senior Director of Operations. A 12-year veteran of Honolulu Cookie Company, Marie manages operational flow across all company facilities and monitors production processes ensuring that the overall quality of all products meet Honolulu Cookie Company’s exacting standards. She is credited with developing and achieving short- and long-term operational goals, contributing to the company’s success.
